Job Title: Barista

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team and provide excellent service to our customers. The Barista will be responsible for creating delicious coffee and tea beverages, providing a warm and welcoming environment for customers, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have experience in the coffee industry, be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and iced drinks

Ensure that all beverages are prepared to company standards and meet the expectations of our customers

Greet customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor, taking their orders and answering any questions they may have

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including ensuring that all equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly

Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and completed in a timely manner

Help to maintain inventory levels by monitoring supplies and placing orders when necessary

Work with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner

Provide exceptional customer service, always going above and beyond to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their experience

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience as a Barista or in the coffee industry preferred

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse group of people

Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work well as part of a team

Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques

Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
